One of the few pictures of me with the Yardley Mclaren F1 car, but when I owned and raced it, it was fitted with a F5000 engine. It was a beast of a car. This photograph was taken at a practice session at Oulton Park in 1977, but not long after the steering wheel came off in my hands after which the decision was taken to completely re–build the car. This took over 4 years. The guy talking to me was racing driver, Alo Lawler.
