My dad gave me my brothers old kart and my first race at Burtonwood saw me finish 6th, scoring a point toward the Victor Ludorum trophy. I was given the trophy for being the first women to race there. However, you can go to any kart meeting now and it would be unusual not to see a female driver competing.
